After clinching its record 33rd Portuguese League title, Benfica travels north to face rival Porto in the League Cup semi-final.
FC Porto finds itself close to the Portuguese League Cup final again and will look to take that last step after losing last year to Braga. The Dragões face longtime rival Benfica, who earlier this week won the league with a 2-0 home win over Olhanense.
Both teams are undefeated in this competition and face each other for the third time this month after battling each other in the Portuguese Cup.
The home team has won five of the last six meetings between these two clubs, with Benfica eliminating Porto from the Taca da Portugal with a 3-1 win at Estadio da Luz 10 days ago.
Porto won that first leg 1-0 at the Dragao at the beginning of the month, and to do it here today it is paying 2.05 over at William Hill. The home side is coming off a 3-0 home win this past Monday over Rio Ave.
The draw selection is available at 3.25 and offers decent.
A Benfica win is at a higher-than-expected 3.60 and would be its first win at Porto since a 2011 Cup game.
Normally a low-scoring match would be expected from Portuguese teams, but when these two get together it is very tense, and with the end of the season looming around the corner expect the over 2.5 to crack -- which is favourable at 2.25. Eight of the last 10 meetings between these two have seen the over hit.
Rodrigo Lima has been on form for Benfica and is available at 2.50 to produce another one here today. He has 19 goals in all competitions this season.
For FC Porto, look no further than Colombian international Jackson Martinez, who has 22 goals and scored the lone goal to win the first leg three-and-a-half weeks ago. He can be taken at 1.91.
