After getting beat down in Kansas City on the weekend, Toronto FC has its best chance for three points tonight when it heads to Los Angeles to face a brutally bad Chivas USA.Bet on MLS tonight and take advantage of a sweet deal from William Hill where you can land a $100 betting bonus simply by opening a free account today!
Tonight's late game features two of the worst teams in all of MLS, with Toronto sitting stagnant in second last in the East while Chivas have the basement spot in the West locked up by a ten-point margin.
It's the first time in a long while that TFC is being offered at under 3-1 while on the road. William Hill has Toronto at 2.87 for the outright win.
However, with the exception of the first half against Montreal a couple of weeks again, Toronto hasn't given bettors any reason to be picked, as evidenced by its 1-6-1 road record this year. The Reds have also been shut out in 330 straight minutes when playing Chivas on the road.
The draw is my preferred pick of the match at 3.25, with the halftime/fulltime draw at a teasing 4.60.
To say Chivas have been struggling as of late is an understatement. They haven't won in their last 14 games and have the league's worst defence with 35 goals allowed in 19 matches. Their offence hasn't been much better, as they have scored twice in a game only once in their last 12.
Of course, they are playing Toronto and as such are slight favourites at 2.45 in the 1X2. The draw/Chivas is at 6.50, and considering TFC's constant late game collapses, it's not that much of a long shot. How about considering a match goal to be scored from the 71st minute until the end of the match which is at 2.20?
I do expect both teams to score which can be taken at 1.91 but still expect the under 2.5 to hit. But at 1.65 it simply doesn't offer much value.
Worth a tenner is the 1-1 draw, which is at 6.50 considering how bad these teams are at the back.
