With all the hype today on the UEFA Champions League, the South American version goes on later tonight as Ronaldinho and Atletico Mineiro visit Bolivia to face The Strongest.
The teams played last week in Belo Horizonte, where the Brazilian side won 2-1 (Ronaldinho and Jo struck in the second half). The victory extended its win streak to three games in the group and the team is currently six points ahead of its Bolivian opponents. It has won five straight matches and has scored at least a pair of goals in each of those contests.
The outright win for the visitors is at a tidy 3.40, and despite the team's winning run as of late it is easy to see that bookmakers feel the altitude will pose issues for the Brazilians. The draw no bet has them at 2.30, which looks appealing. If you select that bet and the game ends in a draw you get your wager back.
The draw looks decent at 3.25, though neither team has drawn so far in the group. Given its dominance so far in the group, I like the strong possibility of Atletico sitting back in a slightly conservative and counter-attacking mode to take a point against a desperate home side.
The Strongest are being offered at just over evens (2.05), with all odds available at William Hill.
Look for both sides to score in the match as they did last time, though it is only paying out 1.61. Atletico has scored in each of its last five away matches, as well. However, odds of 1.85 can be had if the second half produces the most goals. All three goals last week were scored in the second half.
