In one of two games on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League, FC Porto look to extend their unbeaten streak at home when they host Malaga at 2:45pm, but a draw looks more appealing.
In their first entry into this tournament, the visitors exceeded expectations by finishing atop of Group C by a comfortable four points and were able to pull off away points against the trio of AC Milan, Zenit and Anderlecht. They have also looked impressive in La Liga this year where they currently sit in fourth behind Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Malaga are not being given much love by bookies for Tuesday's tilt as they they are slated at odds of 5.00 to take full points from the Dragao. However, a draw looks more likely given the excellent defensive play of the visitors who have allowed on average less than a goal a game in both the Champions League and in La Liga, where they have conceded the least goals of any team. The draw can be taken at our new partners William Hill at 3.20.
The double chance for Malaga is at 1.95 and for a team that has won and drawn three games apiece in the CL, those odds will appeal to many bettors.
Though Porto are a solid team at home the value of 1.83 isn't the greatest of the bunch but if you fancy them to win then look instead at the 1-0 or 2-0 result in the correct score market which is at a robust 6.50 and 8.00 respectively, in addition to draw/Porto result in the halftime/fulltime at 4.50.
For the correct score market, Jackson Martinez is available to open up the scoring for the hosts at 4.00. He has three goals so far in the competition as does Malaga's midfield maestro Eliseu who at 6.50 to score at any point could yield decent value.
