thumbnail Hello,

Separated by only four points in the Bundesliga table and an hour drive on the Autobahn, Hannover 96 heads over to face rival Werder Bremen in the Friday night game.

Though decent at home, Hannover 96 has been bad on the road, losing seven of its nine away matches thus far, which is tied for the highest amount in the league. The club will need to change that up quickly if it wishes to qualify for the Europa League next season, and with Werder Bremen playing average football at home it could be the right opportunity.

Bremen hasn't won in its last three home games and has only one win - against lowly Hoffenheim - in its last seven games. Despite also allowing eight goals in its last two games and 13 in its last four, Werder is still favoured by bookies at 1.95.

The draw listing is presently at 3.80, which isn't half-bad, but considering that Hannover has yet to draw away this season and Bremen has only drawn 22 percent of the time at home, there is a reason it is higher than average.

Now, despite Hannover's lacklustre away performances, it has scored five goals in its last two away matches, though the club lost both. Hannover was able to break its losing streak with an important 2-1 win at home to Wolfsburg this past weekend, and it will need to count on Senegalese striker Mame Biram Diouf to keep producing. He has eight goals in 11 league appearances and has been one of the few bright spots for the team. He is listed at 6.95 to score first in the match and 2.64 to do it anytime. Take a look at those goal scorer bets.

The Hannover victory in the outrights is listed at 3.75 while the Asian Handicap with +0.5 is at 1.85. It defeated Bremen at home earlier this season with a 3-2 score. I also expect this game to produce a few goals, so look at the over 1.5 in the halftime total goals to hit at 2.25 and the over 3.5 at 2.33.
