The last matchday in the Dutch top flight before the winter break is here, and Friday's only feature is between AZ Alkmaar and FC Twente in what should be a close match.
With a record of 4-7-6 (W-L-T), AZ has had some close matches not go its way, but its performance at home has left much to be desired, only generating two wins from eight matches. The club has also not won at home in its last five matches, a stretch going back to mid-September.
Alkmaar broke its six-game winless streak with a 2-1 away win over PEC Zwolle last weekend, but FC Twente is much more formidable opposition to handle. To win in the outright market, Alkmaar is being issued at odds of 2.82 over at Uwin.com.
The draw result is a decent possibility given Alkmaar's ability to deliver them, and that result is available at 3.35 also at the same firm.
FC Twente is tied for the Eredivisie lead with PSV and finished as runners-up last season, only two points from the title.
In 17 matches this season, the visitors have only lost twice and both have come on the road. Having said that, their away record has been rather stellar with four wins and another three draws to show for it in their nine games.
After being smashed 3-0 by PSV away on Dec 9th, Twente was able to comeback with a 3-2 win over Heracles last week at home. To win outright, Twente is paying out 2.40. which isn't bad if you aren't feeling the draw.
I, however, do like the draw at 3.35, along with the under 2.5 at 2.10. In addition, check out the draw in the most goals in a half bet which is paying out 3.75.
