After just edging out Columbus for the fifth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, the Houston Dynamo find themselves two games away from the MLS championship match.
Houston finds itself in its fifth Conference Final in seven years after disposing of Chicago Fire and the top seeded Sporting Kansas City.
The Texans are heavily favoured, with a payout of 1.76 being offered over at UWin.com.
A big reason for that is because Houston is the only team in the league to have gone unbeaten at home all season long. The Dynamo have generated 11 wins and six draws while conceding a league second best 12 goals at BBVA.
Houston is a difficult side to beat when at home and as such the outright market home victory looks like a good bet, though the draw result at 3.35 is appealing as well with more value on it.
D.C. struggled on the road during the season with a record of 5-9-3 (W-L-T) to show for it. Having said that, United was able to go into Red Bull Arena this past week and eliminate New York with a 1-0 win.
Ben Olsen's team could also be boosted by the return of 2011 MLS MVP Dwayne De Rosario who is listed as probable for the game, though if he does obtain any minutes it will likely be as a sub from the bench. It would certainly be a nice addition to D.C.'s offense should he get any time in this match against the club he won four MLS Cup titles with (two of which were when the team was in San Jose).
United is being offered at a robust 4.25.
The over/under sees 2.04 and 1.69 respectively on the 2.5 goals market, while a Houston 1-0 win in the correct score sector would net in 5.80.
A draw/draw in the halftime/fulltime is being set at 5.15 and given Houston's ability to only win or draw at home, it may not be a bad bet to consider.
