After landing a big 8.00 win in MLS betting yesterday, Kris Fernandes takes a look at the Bundesliga Friday night game and sees Frankfurt earning at least a draw in Nurnberg.
Eintracht Frankfurt is undefeated so far in its three matches and is tied with Bayern Munich atop the Bundesliga in the early going. With big wins over Bayer Leverkusen, Hoffenheim and a thrilling victory over Hamburg last Sunday, the momentum for newly promoted side could not be bigger.
A key reason for Frankfurt's success so far has been its ability to put the ball in the back of the net, which has seen an average of three goals scored per game so far, the second highest in the league.
One of those goalscorers is recently acquired Canadian striker Olivier Occean, winner of last year's 2. Bundsliga scoring title. If Occean scores first in this contest, he’ll payout 7.70, however, make sure you hold off on that bet until you see the starting roster when the game’s 3:30pm kickoff nears. There is nothing worse, or more foolish than laying a player-to-score wager only to find out that he isn’t playing. Add to the fact that Frankfurt's distribution of goals has been spread out with six different players marking so far for the central German club.
An outright win for Frankfurt may not be the best solution for winnings today, but at 3.15 may tempt some bettors. The Asian Handicap sees the club at 1.96 for the +0.0/+0.5.
A better option would be to take the draw at 3.30 at Sportsbook.com. To see a draw at the end of 45 and the 90 minute marks, the price increases to 5.50 at the same firm.
Nurnberg drew its only home game when it finished 1-1 with two-time defending champs Borussia Dortmund. The side won its other two games, both on the road, and after finishing 10th in last year’s Bundesliga, the promise of a Europa or Champions League spot is already on the noses of supporters.
A Nurnberg victory in the outright market is at 2.25. The AH will see them at 1.90.
