thumbnail Hello,

The Houston Dynamo is in Honduras to face the domestic titleholders CD Olimpia in the late CONCACAF Champion’s League game kicking off at 10pm ET tonight.

Both teams sit tied atop the standings in the three-team group after beating CD FAS with relative ease in their opening matches (Houston 3-1, Olimpia 3-0).

While Houston failed to make last year’s competition, Olimpia went out at the group stage after a great two-game series against eventual the runners-up, Santos Laguna, by a 4-3 aggregate.

Houston is dealing with a tough schedule in August as it is in the midst of a very heated playoff race which sees third-seventh in the Eastern Conference separated by only three points. The Dynamo sits in third, but with a game against the Chicago Fire which sits one behind, the question will be where Houston’s priority will be? Will the Dynamo rest certain players for the weekend clash or will the Texas side give the CCL its full attention?

With this being Houston's fourth game in 12 days, fatigue could very well be an issue which is why the odds of 3.25 isn’t the best opportunity to win.

The draw result at Ladbrokes, in the meantime, is sitting at 3.20.

An Olimpia win is being issued at 2.00 and looks to be the best selection of in the match given what Houston has at stake in MLS league play, plus its CCL road record of 1-3-4.

Olimpia’s home record in the CCL is 4-1-1, while it sits in second in the Honduran Primera Divison with two wins and four draws so far.

The Draw No Bet options sees Olimpia pay out 1.50, while Houston is at 2.50. The Olimpia halftime/fulltime selection is increased from evens in the moneyline to 3.25 should it emerge ahead at the end of the 45 and 90 minute marks.
