The third week of the Argentina Primera B Nacional continues Monday as the Gimnasia (Jujuy) host Olimpo tonight in San Salvador, the most northern major soccer city in ArgentinaOlimpo, the three-time champions of the B Division, was recently relegated from the Argentine first division where the side finished 19th out of 20 teams in both the Apertura and Clasura last season against the likes of Boca Juniors, Independiente, Velez Sarsfield, and champions Arsenal.
So far this season, Olimpo has yet to win a game from its first two tries as the team drew 0-0 and lost 1-0 so far. However, with a payout of 2.75, Olimpo's chances look good against the lacklustre home side.
The hosts drew their opener in a 0-0 snooze-fest and will need much better performances this year if they are to avoid relegation to the third division. They were able to avoid finishing dead last which would have hit them harder in the unique Argentinean relegation system that takes multiple years into consideration as opposed to Europe’s annual system. Gimnasia finished 18th of 20 teams with a record of 8-20-10 (W-L-T) with a goal difference of -18.
Favoured at 2.37, Gimnasia would not be the best selection for tonight and instead I would stick with the visitors for the outright win.
The draw result is slated for a payout of 3.00 at Ladbrokes.com if that intrigues you.
The Draw No Bet sees a payout of 2.10 for Olimpo and if the game ends in a draw then you get your wager back.
