thumbnail Hello,

The Montreal Impact must win today at home against DC United if they have any hopes of taking the 5th playoff spot from DC United this afternoon.

As an MLS expansion team coming up from the NASL this year, the Montreal Impact have surprised many in Major League Soccer with their decent performance. The team is on a tear as of late winning four straight games including a big 3-1 win at Stade Saputo against San Jose, the top team in the league.

The Impact are indeed in form right now and will look to continue their home dominance which has seen them win nine of 14 matches at Saputo while drawing a pair.

The defence was notoriously suspect all season, conceding the second most in MLS with 44, but seems to have settled down as of late, giving up one goal in the club's last three matches, while not allowing more than one in a game in their last five games in all competitions.

The Impact to win are sitting at 2.10, something most would not have imagined a month ago.

DC United are coming of a big 4-2 win over the Chicago Fire at Toyota Pak earlier in the week and currently sit four points ahead of Montreal in the standings with the games in hand. A win here would seemingly separate them from the Impact and they will look to repeat their performance in their only encounter this season when they beat them 3-0 win at RFK Stadium back in June.

You can get Dwayne De Rosario, Chris Pontius and the rest of the Eagles at 3.00 for the outright victory while the draw result can be had at 3.40.
