2011-12 La Liga champion Real Madrid visits Los Angeles on Thursday night to take on the LA Galaxy in friendly action.
Los Blancos are in pre-season mode, while the Galaxy is in the midst of a run towards the playoffs in Major League Soccer and will be in top physical condition for the game. LA does, however, have a big Western Conference match this Sunday against Seattle, and head coach Bruce Arena has already stated that his players will get a maximum of between 45-60 minutes of game time in tonight's tilt in order to prepare for the more important league match.
Madrid will have access to its full cast of stars including Cristiano Ronaldo, Higuain, Kaka, and Mesut Ozil, while LA will call upon Robbie Keane, Landon Donovan, and former Madrid star David Beckham to deliver the upset.
Real has won all three previous encounters by a combined score of 9-3, so expect the over 2.5 - or quite possibly the over 3.5 - to be the options of the day.
Although Madrid is only paying a measly 1.25 for the victory, you can expect LA to come out very strong in the first half with its starting lineup before taking it easy in the second. So the better value bet would be the draw/away result which would see Jose Mourinho's men win in the final 45.
The draw result is sitting at 5.00, while the Galaxy is being issued at a hefty 8.00 for the outright win.
