thumbnail Hello,

The lone match in Major League Soccer on Friday will feature a pair of low scoring teams as Chivas USA host the Chicago Fire in Los Angeles.

Chivas come into Friday night's tilt with the Chicago Fire sitting in second last in the Western Conference, with nine points in eight matches. Along with Toronto, they share the worst home record in MLS as they are winless in four matches at the Home Depot Centre. They have also not drawn a single game yet and are coming off a 4-0 defeat to the Rapids in Colorado last week.

Despite the lacklustre performances at home, Chivas are currently paying 2.00 over at

Meanwhile, Chicago is sitting fifth in the East with an even record of 2-2-2, having lost an aggressive match at home to Seattle by a 2-1 score in its previous outing. The Fire has allowed seven goals in its last four games and has had trouble scoring goals, with Dominic Oduro - who has three goals this year - being the lone player on the squad with more than one to his name. Chicago's away record is 1-1-1, and the Fire is paying 3.20 to take the three points in Southern California, which is also the same payout as the draw bet.

In the eight games Chivas have played, only two of them have resulted in a total of three goals being scored, while Chicago's games have only resulted in three or more goals twice in its six matches. That together with the fact that both teams having conceded a mere combined total of nine goals this season means the bet I like here is the under 2.5, which right now is at 1.90.

This could very well be a 1-1 draw, which if you are looking at the odd/even offerings sees a payout of 1.85 if you put it on evens.
