The Mexican has been the subject of speculation regarding a loan move to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, with his path to the first team apparently blocked. However, the 22-year-old's representative has reiterated his client's desire to stay put, claiming that he has never thought about leaving Camp Nou.
"The opinion of Jonathan dos Santos has not changed," Montes told Orgullodenervion.com. "He did not mark a deadline for making a decision."
Michel had lined up the player as an addition to his midfield options, Sevilla currently sits in seventh place in La Liga, having taken four points from its opening two matches.
