Marco Fabian could still be on his way to a European team, according to ESPN.

According to the sports network, Fabian has an offer on the table for him to join VfL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga, with all that's missing is an agreement on his transfer fee.

Shortly after Fabian and fellow teammates Jorge Enriquez, Miguel Ponce and Antonio Rodriguez came back from London with gold medals to show for their performance with El Tri, Chivas owner Jorge Vergara declared that none of the players were for sale.

However, a hefty price tag for the offensive midfielder could sway Vergara's mindset away from keeping Fabian, according to the report.

Fabian would be just the fourth Mexican player to suit up for a Bundesliga team, following Pavel Pardo, Ricardo Osorio and Francisco Rodriguez.
