thumbnail Hello,

Monterrey's CCL triumph means it will represent CONCACAF in the Club World Cup for the second year running.

With a second straight CONCACAF Champions League trophy, Monterrey is headed back to the Club World Cup. This time, the Mexican outfit wants redemption.

"We have a chance at revenge at the Club World Cup," Jonathan Orozco said. "We hope to get there with a better level of play than last year."

In the 2011 edition, Monterrey crashed out at the first hurdle: losing 5-4 in penalties to Japanese club Kashiwa Reysol after drawing 1-1 through extra time.

Coach Victor Manuel Vucetich isn't expecting another early letdown in 2012.

"We have a long time to prepare (for the Club World Cup)," he said. "We know what it means to be back, we definitely need to have a different plan this time."

The 2012 CWC will be held in Japan in December.
