The Rossoneri has opted to give fans a chance to get their money back should they no longer wish to hold a season-ticket after the club sold two of its prized assetsAC Milan has offered its fans the opportunity to have their season tickets refunded following the departures of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to Paris Saint-Germain.
A group of supporters recently filed a lawsuit against the Rossoneri as they felt they were made to buy a season ticket under the false promise that Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva would remain at the club. The San Siro side has now decided to refund those who wish to terminate their season-ticket privileges.
"Milan have confirmed our readiness to dissolve agreements for season tickets for the first team's home games for 2012-13, under conditions specified and inside a specific time period," a statement on the club's official website read.
"Milan firmly reiterate that this willingness is dictated by the need for class and affection of the club towards its supporters, and independent of any legal analysis. Milan believe that the [lawsuit filed] is without foundation."
Aside from Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva, Milan also saw players such as Filippo Inzaghi, Clarence Seedorf, Alessandro Nesta and Gennaro Gattuso leave the club at the end of last season.
