The former Lech Poznan coach has voiced his opinion that the Allianz Arena side is the right choice for the ex-Blaugrana trainer.Pep Guardiola has made the right decision to resume his coaching career at Bayern Munich at the start of the 2013-14 campaign.
The Bundesliga giant announced on Wednesday that the former Barcelona coach will replace Jupp Heynckes at the end of this season, and his former teammate feels Guardiola will thrive at Bayern.
"Bayern are a great destination for Pep. He can give this new batch of German players a bit of a Latin touch," Bakero told Goal.com.
"I am happy for him. Bayern Munich are a historic club. They have a great structure and will give Pep all the support he needs to make this project a success.
"Germany is a nice country and its football has developed significantly in recent years. It was characterized by power and strength, but is now based on technique."
Guardiola took a one-year sabbatical from football after leaving Barcelona in the summer of 2012, and will be looking to replicate his success with the Blaugrana at Bayern.
