The Bavarian giants suffered two 1-0 defeats against Dortmund in the Bundesliga, the last of which gave Jurgen Klopp's side the decisive edge in the race for the Bundesliga title, which Dortmund promptly claimed.
As Bayern prepares to tackle Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal final on May 12, Neuer believes that both clubs were evenly matched during these two contests in 2011-12.
"They were not clear defeats, and thus the victories were not deserved," Neuer suggested to Bild. "Both games should have ended in draws."
