The 22-year-old has made just nine Premier League starts for the club since arriving over the summer but is keen to make a notable impact after regaining fitness.

Queens Park Rangers attacker Junior Hoilett is determined to prove his worth to the club and help the Rs avoid relegation upon his return from injury.

The Canadian winger hasn't featured since the 1-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Jan. 2 due to a hamstring problem. Ahead of the upcoming clash with Manchester United at Loftus Road, though, the 22-year-old Hoilett says he is keen to make a big impact.

“It's been really frustrating, especially when a new manager comes in and you can't show him what you can do because of injuries," Hoilett told the Fulham Chronicle. "I've been doing some rehab and strength work and hopefully [will] be ready for the next match.

"I've struggled with the same hamstring problem. Hopefully it's sorted now and I can get going. I feel I'm over it now."

Hoilett experienced the ignominy of Premier League relegation last season with former club Blackburn, and he is desperate to avoid a repeat.

"I want to help the team get the results we need," Hoilett said. "It's not a good feeling getting relegated. I know what it's like, so it gives me extra drive to make sure it doesn't happen again.”
