thumbnail Hello,

The defender’s contract expires in 2014 but the Gunners are keen to ward off the rumored interest of Inter by persuading him to sign an extension.

Laurent Koscielny is reportedly in talks with Arsenal over committing his long-term future to the club.

The France international still has two years left on his current contract with the Gunners but manager Arsene Wenger is said to be keen to tie the defender down to a new deal amid interest from a number of top sides around Europe, including Inter.

Arsenal has offered Koscielny an extension that would bind him to the Emirates until June 2017, according to L'Equipe.

The 26-year-old center back, who has been capped four times by Les Bleus, joined the north London outfit from Lorient in 2010.

Koscielny made just one appearance at Euro 2012 but drew plenty of praise from the French press for his performance in the 2-0 quarterfinal defeat to eventual champion Spain.
