The Spain international feels that his team has now found its form and he is confident that los Blancos still have a shot to challenge for silverware this term.
Madrid currently sits third in the league, already 16 points behind rival Barcelona. However, the 26-year-old is certain the club can bounce back in the second half of the campaign.
"We must continue to fight. La Liga is not impossible," he told reporters, adding: "We must stick together."
Ramos is aware that the team currently struggling is the same side that beat the Blaugrana for the title last season, and he is sure that his Santiago Bernabeu counterparts will focus well on their upcoming challenges.
"The team hasn't changed from last year. We are almost the same players," he noted. "The players' attitudes have always been excellent."
Regarding the European competition, he stated that it is currently not the right time to think about it, since there is a lot of work to be done domestically.
"We'll have time to think about Champions League, but not now," he continued.
He also commented on his teammate and captain Iker Casillas, who was surprisingly benched by Jose Mourinho for the match against Malaga on Dec. 22.
"Mourinho decides," he said. "We can't do anything about that."
Madrid resumes action on Jan. 6 against Real Sociedad.
