Matt Besler and Tim Howard have also been excused from camp ahead of the USA's final World Cup qualifier at Panama, while Sean Johnson has been added.
Midfielders Landon Donovan (ankle) and Jermaine Jones (knee) have withdrawn from the team due to injury, while goalkeeper Tim Howard and defender Matt Besler have also been allowed to rejoin their clubs.
Chicago Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson is the only addition ahead of Tuesday's trip to face Panama.
"Landon is still struggling with the ankle injury from a couple weeks ago, so he will go back to Los Angeles and try to get back to 100 percent," said Klinsmann, who removed Donovan at halftime of Friday's 2-0 win over Jamaica.
"Jermaine's case is more of a concern. His knee was bothering him all night but he battled through. It's clear that the issue with his knee is something that should be taken care of right away so he can be 100 percent for Schalke and the national team as soon as possible."
According to Klinsmann, the departures of Howard and Besler were granted because he plans to start backup goalkeeper Brad Guzan and reserve center back Clarence Goodson in Panama.
The USA, which clinched qualification following a win over Mexico on Sept. 10, ensured it will finish atop the Hexagonal with the victory over Jamaica on Friday in Kansas City, Kan.
