Toronto FC announced the end of its loan agreement with Tottenham for the 21-year-old Englishman.

John Bostock's time as a Toronto FC player has come to an end.

The team announced Friday that it is ending its loan agreement with Bostock early. The 21-year-old joined TFC from Tottenham Hotspur on March 8. He made nine appearances in all competitions for the Reds, although he has seen his playing time disappear significantly in recent weeks.

Bostock's departure is expected to make room on the first team roster for designated player Danny Koevermans, who suffered an ACL injury last year and recenttly returned to action with the TFC reserves.
