thumbnail Hello,

The Texas side wore the company's name on the front of its shirts for two seasons, but Greenstar Recycling's sale brought an early termination to the deal

The Houston Dynamo will look slightly different when they take the field at BBVA Compass stadium next  month.

The MLS Cup finalist will no longer bear the name of Greenstar Recycling on its shirts, after the firm and the club came to an agreement to end the deal. Greenstar was recently acquired by WM Recycle America, a subsidiary of waste management company Waste Management.

“We are sorry to see the relationship end, but happy to have found terms that are beneficial to both parties and cover the Dynamo’s financial position,” said Dynamo President Chris Canetti. “We had a successful partnership and I am happy that we played a key role in Greenstar’s growth and ultimate sale.”

The Dynamo are now looking for a new sponsor.
