thumbnail Hello,

It took a while, but 22-year-old Canadian-born attacker Junior Hoilett got his first league goal for new club Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.

Junior Hoilett's transition to QPR from longtime former club Blackburn Rovers hasn't been a smooth one, and the Canadian-born starlet has been shuttled in and out of the lineup for his new side since debuting as a high-profile signing in August.

The 22-year-old finally managed to put his name on the scoresheet for QPR on Sunday, when he opened the scoring just two minutes into a 1-1 draw with Everton.

Hoilett charged 70 yards with the ball before unleashing a shot that was deflected past Everton 'keeper Tim Howard, sending the Loftus Road faithful into early raptures. Ultimately, QPR would squander the lead in the 33rd minute, as Julio Cesar put the ball in his team's own net to pull the visitors level.

Brampton, Ontario, native Hoilett has scored one other time for QPR, netting in a League Cup loss to Reading back in September.
