Atiba Hutchinson played the entire match at right back as his team PSV Eindhoven destroyed visiting AZ 5-1 in Eredivisie play on Saturday.
The Canadian international scored the final goal of the game in the 90th minute, after pouncing on a loose ball outside the AZ penalty area and smartly weaving past a defender. It was Hutchinson's second straight game with a goal in league play, helping PSV to its fifth consecutive win in all competitions.
Teenager Cavallini opens his professional account in Uruguay
Highly touted 19-year-old striker Lucas Cavallini didn't have to wait long to get his name onto the scoresheet as a professional, scoring the lone goal in Juventud de Las Piedras' 1-0 win over Central Español on Sunday.
It was Cavallini's second start for the Uruguayan Primera Division club, after he joined the side on loan from Club Nacional.
Jackson earns second start of 2012-13 for Norwich City
Simeon Jackson lined up as the second striker for Norwich City in a 1-1 draw at Tottenham Hotspur, with the 25-year-old going 72 minutes.
Swansea still undefeated in EPL
Potential Canadian international Jonathan de Guzman went 90 minutes in the midfield for Swansea, which stretched its undefeated run to three games with a 2-2 draw versus Sunderland.
De Guzman assisted on the game-tying goal.

Uncapped Junior Hoilett was an unused sub for Queens Park Rangers in a 3-1 loss at Manchester City.
It was the first time this season that Hoilett had missed any time for QPR, as the 22-year-old had played 90 minutes in each of his team's first two EPL matches.

David Edgar played his customary 90 minutes on the Burnley back line as his club dropped a 3-1 decision to visiting Brighton & Hove Albion.

Iain Hume secured a loan move to League One side Doncaster Rovers late last week, after falling out of favour with Preston North End over the summer.

23-year-old Marcus Haber was not in the matchday 18 for Stevenage in a 1-1 tie with Shrewsbury Town, as the Canadian was sitting out with an undisclosed injury.
Eintracht Frankfurt wins second of the season
In Bundesliga action, Olivier Occean went 90 minutes for Eintracht Frankfurt as the newly promoted side won its second straight game to start the 2012-13 campaign.
Occean's side dismantled host Hoffenheim to the tune of 4-0, giving Eintracht a whopping six goals for, one against in its first pair of league matches.
De Jong, Augsburg defeated by Schalke 04
Marcel de Jong made his first Bundesliga appearance of the young season on Saturday, lining up at left back and picking up a 62nd minute yellow card as his side FC Augsburg lost 3-1 at Schalke 04.
Augsburg has lost both of its first two games of the season so far.
Edwini-Bonsu logs 43 minutes for Eintracht Braunschweig
22-year-old Randy Edwini-Bonsu played nearly the entire second half as his club Eintracht Braunschweig continued its roll atop the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory at Aalen.
The win propelled Braunschweig into sole possession of the top spot in the standings.
Struggles continue for FC Köln
After being relegated from the top tier of German football last season, FC Köln has found the early going to be just as tough in the 2. Bundesliga. The latest poor result, a 1-0 loss at home to FC Energie Cottbus, drops Köln to second-from-bottom after four matches.
Kevin McKenna, still recovering from minor ankle surgery, remained on the bench in Friday's loss.
Straith plays 73 minutes in big Saarbrücken loss
21-year-old centre back Adam Straith started and went 73 minutes for FC Saarbrücken in a 3-0 loss to Karlsruher SC in the German 3. Liga.
The result allowed Karlsruher to nudge ahead of Saarbrücken on the league table on goal differential, with both teams on 10 points after eight rounds.
Hirschfeld grabs clean sheet
Goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld entered the international break on a high after earning the clean sheet for Vålerenga in a 4-0 drubbing of Sandnes Ulf in Norway's top flight.
With the win, Vålerenga now sits in seventh place, and the club can look forward to a little more Canadian content in the future as attacker Tosaint Ricketts has agreed to join the club pending a release from former side Politehnica Timişoara of Romania.
Borjan, Sivasspor fight to scoreless deadlock in Turkey
Another Canadian netminder grabbing a clean sheet over the weekend was Milan Borjan, who backstopped Sivasspor to a 0-0 draw with Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Süper Lig. The shut out came during Borjan's first appearance of the season for Sivasspor.
Stamatopoulos on bench in AIK victory
Kenny Stamatopoulos remained in his back up 'keeper role as his side AIK defeated Helsingborg 2-1 in Sweden's Allsvenskan.
AIK is currently in fourth after 21 games played.

In Finland's Veikkausliiga, Riley O'Neill potted a 90th minute goal to help ensure MyPa's 3-0 win over cellar-dwelling Jaro. The goal was O'Neill's fifth of season.

IFK Mariehamn keeps pace with victory
