thumbnail Hello,

The Canadian Soccer Association named its 33rd president on Saturday in the nation’s capital.

In its annual meeting on Saturday in Ottawa, Victor Montagliani was named the new president of the Canadian Soccer Association.

“Governance is not simply about management" said Montagliani about his new post. "It requires leadership, passion and a burning desire to deliver excellent outcomes for the Canadian Soccer Association. Leadership is about service and I am ready to serve the Canadian soccer community”.

Montagliani served three terms as the Association's vice-president. He replaces Dr. Dominique Maestrucci, whose highlight achievement in the role was the successful bid of the Women’s World Cup in 2015.
