United have two huge games coming up next. A week tomorrow, they take on rivals Liverpool who are high-flying in the league. Following that, it is the comeback attempt against Olympiakos at home in the Champions League second leg.
Yellow Card Victor Anichebe
We're into stoppage time at The Hawthorns, and three minutes have been signalled.
YELLOW CARD - Victor Anichebe. The striker is handed a second booking of the season with a challenge on Danny Welbeck.
SUBSTITUTION: Man Utd - Nemanja Vidic replaces Rafael in the final stages.
West Brom unable to really assert themselves in the midfield, with their disjointed passing and poor positioning, especially in the second half. man Utd preparing another substitution.
Turning into a very good day for David Moyes' men in what has been a rather routine victory to continue their good run at this stadium. Will this be a catalyst for change?
Assist Wayne Rooney
Goal Danny Welbeck
GOAL! West Brom 0-3 Man Utd: WELBECK! Lovely move once again, and that settles it. Welbeck with a beautiful finish after Mata, Rooney and Fellaini combine in the build-up. Rooney with the decisive pass, and Welbeck just lifts it over Foster and into the net.
West Brom languish in 17th place in the Premier League, one point ahead of Sunderland. The Black Cats, who were in action in the Capital One Cup final last week, also are not scheduled to play this week, giving them two games in hand.
GERA! Lovely save from De Gea, his first real piece of action in this game. Great understanding from Anichebe and Gera, the latter showing good movement to give his marker the slip. Poor accuracy in the shot, and it's turned behind.
Entering the final quarter of an hour of this game. Man Utd have managed an 82% pass completion rate to West Brom's 74%. They've completed 302, about 100 more than their opponents.
SUBSTITUTION - Manchester United: Adnan Januzaj goes off, to be replaced by Shinji Kagawa.
Fantastic opening of the opposition defence by Michael Carrick, whose pass carves open a chance for Danny Welbeck, arriving inside the box on the right. The England striker loses a bit of composure, and sends the ball flying over the goal.
Sessegnon does well to hold off Rafael, and use his strength to shield the ball and carve out a chance for the hosts, but the Brazilian right-back doesn't let go too easily, and intervenes.
Stat: Wayne Rooney now has 11 goals and nine assists in the Premier League this season, contributing to just under half (44.4%) of his side's goals.
BERAHINO! Offside anyway, but what a chance that was spurned there. A cross from the wing evades the striker, but is drifted back from Gera. Towards Berahino who heads it over the bar!
SUBSTITUTION - West Brom: Third and final change for the Baggies. Saido Berahino comes on to replace the injured Chris Brunt,
That will put the game to bed. West Brom unlikely to recover from a two goal deficit, having failed to seriously trouble David de Gea in this game. Meanwhile, West Brom are about to throw another one on.
Goal Wayne Rooney
GOAL! West Brom 0-2 Manchester United - ROONEY! Fine goal. Lovely passing move started by Rooney in deep. Rafael with a fantastic cross from the right, towards Rooney who directs it simply into the net. Superb.
Robin van Persie
SUBSTITUTION - Man Utd: Robin van Persie departs, to be replaced by Danny Welbeck. Common sense from Moyes, with van Persie lucky to have escaped a red just moments ago.
Chris Brunt is feeling some pain, and is currently receiving treatment in the middle of the pitch. There is some action on the United bench meanwhile. A first change imminent for the visitors.
SUBSTITUTION - West Brom: Off goes Steven Reid, and he is replaced by Stephane Sessegnon.
Steven Reid limping for West Brom, might we see another substitution from the Baggies? Meanwhile, United have a free-kick after yet another Mulumbu foul.
And the subsequent corner comes to nothing, but Manchester United are already embarking on a counter attack here. A long ball forward from the left by Evra finds Fellaini in ACRES of space. Hits it powerfully in the absence of Liam Ridgewell, but it is blocked.
ANICHEBE! West Brom are getting closer! Mata forced to clear off the line, before Mulumbu gets on the rebound. Charged behind by the defender and out for a corner. It's got The Hawthorns in full voice!
Van Persie's lucky there. Stumbles with the ball, and launches a two-footed challenge which sends Steven Reid in the air. He is already on a yellow, and he is oh so lucky to be remaining on the pitch. Last chance.
GERA! That was a fantastic chance from the midfielder. Fine movement from West Brom, as Gera plays an intricate one-two with Anichebe, who holds off Smalling. Back to Gera, but he tumbles with the effort, with De Gea picking up the ball in a routine save.
Yellow Card Robin van Persie
Pepe Mel gives an encouraging thumbs up to his side, as Anichebe produces another turn and shot, down low. His effort is rather tame however, and De Gea sees it out with ease.
Gera goes down under the challenge of Smalling, but the referee waves play on. Not much in that challenge, but West Brom are currently in a decent spell of possession.
Decent free-kick from Van Persie, hit towards the centre of the field. Headed away by Olsson, and not for the first time this afternoon, Januzaj hits a wild volley which goes absolutely nowhere.
Free-kick awarded to Manchester United. Fellaini is upended by Mulumbu on the right side of the field. The defender is furious, but United have a fantastic chance to extend their lead. 30 yards out.
Underway in the second half! Manchester United commence play, attacking from right to left. Can they hold onto, or even extend their lead?
HT: WBA 0-1 MUFC: Jones' header separates the two sides at the break, though there was controversy when Ben Foster supposedly handled outside the area. Nicely poised this at the half-time interval.
45' + 2'
HALF-TIME: West Brom 0-1 Manchester United
45' + 1'
West Brom providing a strong finish at the end of the first half. And they are aided with a free-kick, after Fellaini clumsily fouls Brunt on the edge of the area.
Into the first of two minutes added on at the end of the first half.
A huge call from the referee. His body is outside, but is his hand? Replays show his whole body is outside the box. No question of the handball. Moyes is seething on the touchline. A massive mistake from Foster.
CONTROVERSY! Juan Mata pings a fine ball forward for van Persie, who isn't expected to get that in time. But Foster races off his line, and connects the ball with the hand. Man Utd are furious! The referee waves play on.
ANICHEBE! Narrowly wide from the striker. Lovely turn and shot by the big striker, holding off the challenge of Phil Jones to get his shot away. Just goes wide.
SUBSTITUTION - West Brom: Claudio Yacob has been replaced by James Morrison.
OUCH! Claudio Yacob is on the receiving end of a heavy challenge from Marouane Fellaini. Yacob receiving a bit of treatment, and is moving gingerly.
A frustrated Pepe Mel watches on, conversing with his assistant. The last couple of mid-season managerial changes at West Brom has seen them escape relegation. Will it this time?
West Brom have conceded the first goal in their last four home games (against Everton, Chelsea, Fulham and Liverpool). Each time, they have clawed the score back to 1-1.
Phil Jones' third goal in the Premier League this season, and it just eases the pressure on Moyes and his side. Great header, with the defence a little too easily beaten.
Assist Robin van Persie
Goal Phil Jones
GOAL! West Brom 0-1 Manchester United - PHIL JONES! The centre-back breaks the deadlock with a powerful header. His movement was great to get onto the end of van Persie's set-piece delivery, and it flies past Ben Foster.
Januzaj's deliveries causing a bit of a problem from the left. Another one deep into the danger zone, with Rafael coming on the end of that, though this time, his effort is blocked.
Chants of 'Getting Sacked in the Morning' reverberate around the stadium. Whether that's intended for Pepe Mel or David Moyes is anyone's guess.
RAFAEL! Good save from Foster, but United unable to take advantage of the rebound. Threatening cross from Januzaj from the left. Powerfully whipped in, and Rafael gets on the end of that, with Foster clawing the ball away.
Rare chance for the Baggies. Quick cross from the left catches out the United defence as Amalfitano races in front of Smalling to connect with the delivery, and De Gea makes a decent save.
Taken by Juan Mata, chipped in with his left. Cut out by Mulumbu, under pressure from Rooney but Evra pounces on the loose ball. He is denied by an offside call.
Van Persie wins a free-kick after a late challenge from Youssouf Mulumbu. Free-kick in a decent position, about 30 yards out. Mata, Rooney and Van Persie standing over this.
Manchester United's points total after 27 games is comfortably the worst they've endured in the Premier League era. Their total of 45 is five off the previous worst of 50 at this stage in the 1992-1993 season.
Long ball deep from Carrick towards Robin van Persie is well nullified by Reid, and West Brom are holding a very solid defensive line against the champions.
Wayne Rooney diverts his frustration towards referee Jon Moss, who awards a goal-kick instead of a corner after a challenge from Claudio Yacob. TV replays show the referee was right!
Anichebe does well to claim possession, and advances slightly on the right wing, in search of an advancing team mate. Brunt and Gera in place, but he is unable to find them
United dominating still, with West Brom unable to get the ball out of their box. Rafael advancing from the right to put pressure on the hosts, but eventually, the play fizzles out.
OFF THE LINE! A third corner causes problems for the Baggies defence. Helped on by Fellaini, and it cannons off Chris Brunt, before being cleared by Mulumbu on the line!
Poor corner, as it evades the likes of Fellaini and Patrice Evra, though it does go out via a West Brom shirt. Another corner, to be taken by Juan Mata.
Januzaj and Mata combine, as the latter struggles to hold onto another over-hit cross. Olsson meanwhile does well to intercept the lofted pass towards Van Persie, and Man Utd have a corner.
Yellow Card Adnan Januzaj
YELLOW CARD - Adnan Januzaj. The young winger picks up his seventh booking of the season for handball. Bit harsh that!
Ball falls kindly for Anichebe, who races forward to get into a one on one position. Under pressure from Chris Smalling who races back in time, the England defender wins that tussle and averts danger.
FELLAINI! Just couldn't drop quickly in time. Decent cross in from the left which bamboozles the defence. Fellaini with a good bit of control first, but unable to hit it before it is brought away by Olsson.
Januzaj limping after a strong challenge from Morgan Amalfitano. But he can continue for now, as Chris Brunt brings West Brom forward. Possession changing hands quickly in the opening 10 minutes.
Space opening up through the centre as West Brom pile forward. Gera and Amafitano combine, but Rafael breaks it up and starts a counter attack towards the other end. Rooney's cross is too powerful, and it flies out.
Januzaj gives chase on the left, played forward by Carrick, but Reid is on hand to stifle the youngster's progress. West Brom have started well here at the Hawthorns.
Howler from Ben Foster! The former United goalkeeper has an innocuous back pass coming his way, but totally slices it as it goes behind for a corner. Luckily for him, United spurn the chance.
Chance for Morgan Amalfitano who races forward into the penalty box. The on-loan Marseille winger doesn't manage to produce a decent cross to test the United defence, but Anichebe going forward puts pressure on Phil Jones, with United struggling to get the ball away,
Poor free-kick from Gera, cleared at the first attempt. West Brom winless at home against United in 30 years remember, will this be the day?
Chris Brunt flicks the ball forward for Zoltan Gera to give chase on the left. Clipped by Marouane Fellaini, and the midfielder has won a free-kick on the left.
UNDERWAY! West Brom get us going, attacking from right to left in this half.
Before kick-off, a minute's applause to honour the life of former Albion player Stan Rickaby, who died last week shortly before his 90th birthday.
The sides are out to rapturous applause at The Hawthorns. A big 90 minutes await us. Kick-off imminent.

CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
West Brom, whose last league victory came against Newcastle on New Year's Day - 66 days ago - face a Manchester United side whose last defeat at the Hawthorns came in 1984.
This fixture last season saw West Brom and United play out a superb 5-5 draw in what was Sir Alex Ferguson's 1,500th and final game in charge of the champions. United were 3-0 and 5-2 up in that game, before being pegged back.
Interestingly, the Baggies have only won twice since their shock 1-2 victory over United at Old Trafford. They were high-flyers then, but can they spring another shock here today?
For West Brom, winless in six under new boss Pepe Mel, and languishing uncomfortably just above the relegation spot. One point ahead of Sunderland, who have a game in hand - it is not exactly the best position to be in.
Man Utd sit seventh in the Premier League, a whopping 12 points behind rivals City in the final Champions League spot with 11 games to go. They are three behind Everton in sixth, with the Toffees in action against Arsenal in the FA Cup today.
Man Utd have had about 10 days off since their 2-0 defeat to Olympiakos last Tuesday in the Champions League. The Red Devils have only won once away in the Premier League in 2014 so far, beating Crystal Palace two weeks ago.
I'm Mohammed Ali, and I'll be taking you through proceedings from the Midlands as both Man Utd and West Brom require points in what is turning out to be a tricky situation for both Pepe Mel and David Moyes.
Good afternoon and welcome to live coverage of today's Premier League clash between West Bromwich Albion and Manchester United from the Hawthorns.
