Outdone by Mutch's chipped ball which was initially intended as a cross to the far post. Stood up strong to a Campbell drive but saw the ball loop over him again for the second and third.
Had very little to contend with in the first-half as Cardiff played a very narrow game with few chances. Had more to do with Zaha in the second-half but still fared well.
Retained his place in the side with defensive injuries and Diego Lugano only fit enough for the bench. Performed well and looked composed despite his lack of top-flight experience.
Steady at the back and was generally quite strong, despite failing to pick up Caulker - their biggest aerial threat - for his goal. Didn't get tight to Daehli as it deflected off him and in for the third.
Consistent in his performance throughout the game but partly because he didn't ever have any direct opponent on the wings to face him.
Sat the deepest of the midfielders and retained possession of the ball well while showing an appetite in creating going forward. Shrunk in the second-half, though.
Returned to the starting XI and made a fine impact. Hit an audacious opener from distance with superb execution and showed vision for the second goal. Replaced later on.
Occupied a wide position on the left and usually more effective through the middle but did offer strong running down the flanks that kept Cardiff busy. Assisted the third goal.
Put in a real battling display in the middle that showed grit and hardwork in the tackle and a drive going forward. His play faded in the latter stages, though.
Found himself in acres of space for the second goal as he broke from midfield unmarked to knock into the net.
Made an early contribution as he broke free of the defensive line to assist Dorrans' goal. Led the line well and impressed on just his fourth league start.
Caught slightly off his line for the opening goal from Amalfitano and that was an error. But his defence didn't get back quick enough to help out for the second.
Didn't seem to settle into any early rhythm with two quick goals as Cardiff seemed to play a high-line for both, particularly the second. But came to their rescue with yet another goal to level.
First start back from injury and thrust straight into the action as the Baggies started all guns blazing. Looked more solid as the game progressed but wasn't tight on Thievy for his goal.
Confident when in possession of the ball and usually made the right decisions going forward. Moves for both early goals came down his side although not at fault for either.

Saw Vydra's knock-back to Dorrans result in West Brom's second goal after replays suggested his opponent strayed marginally offside. Otherwise steady and contested most balls well.
Part of a back-five that wasn't working as they conceded early goals, thus taken off midway through the first-half for Zaha as they altered their formation.
His poor header on the half-way line led to the opening goal which was unfortunate as it marred an otherwise tidy performance. Strong in the tackle and assured on the ball.
Brought into a three-man midfield but was the quieter of the trio and his performance probably didn't justify Kim being dropped either. Replaced at half-time for Daehli.
Pulled his side back into the game with a goal that was intended as a cross. Decent in the game but nothing spectacular with both Medel and Daehli making more impact.
Made numerous runs up top and was a real work-horse for his side despite a lack of supply from midfield. Spearheaded a strong Cardiff in the second half and was direct.
Drifted between midfield and attack but was far too deep and never in chance of effecting the game that way. Stayed further forward in the second but only contribution was a booking.
Made his way onto the pitch as a late substitute for Vydra who looked as if he was starting to tire. Thought he had won the game late on with a goal through the legs of the keeper.
Brought onto the pitch in place of Amalfitano with around 20 minutes left to play as Cardiff began to show their dominance in possession. Didn't make an impact, however.
Made his way onto the pitch at the interval in place of Gunnarsson who was ineffective. Looked neat on the ball and showed good quick feet to evade tackles. Scored a dramatic late goal after finding space in the box.
Brought on for Fabio in the first-half but didn't seem to hold down any particular position. Had more focus in the second-half but found it hard to beat players.
