Not asked to make a ton of saves, but dealt with a number of balls with his feet and did well to clear the danger whenever his defenders needed a hand.
Strong showing for Goodson who has stated his case for regular minutes with the national team throughout this Gold Cup. Won most of his aerial battles with Perez and showed plenty of pace when Panama was on the break.
Like Parkhurst on the other side, didn't get forward as much this game as he has throughout the tournament because of Panama's pace, but did alright with his defensive responsibilities and delivered a couple of good crosses.
Didn't get forward down the right a lot, but did well enough to keep tabs on Quintero.
Very assured showing once again as the USA dominated possession. Dealt well with Perez and Torres, but had a couple of loose passes out of the back as well.
Not much of an impact in the first half and came off in the 67th before doing much in the second frame.
Didn't have the same impact that he had on the semifinal, with Rodriguez doing a nice job of keeping tabs on him, but managed to play the ball in to Donovan that set the stage for the USA's opener.
Beckerman put in yet another solid game as the USA's defensive midfielder, winning more than his share of tackles in the midfield and keeping possession well enough without really doing anything dynamic.
Overcooked a couple of balls early on and then left the game with an injury before being able to make much of an impact.
Some good play with his back to goal in the early stages as the USA looked to find a way through, but was often isolated with two center backs tracking him. Had one glorious chance to finish the match off and put it over the top.
Ineffective in the first half as he wasn't on the ball much. Did better coming out in the second half but missed a golden chance to open the scoring in the 56th with a header. Set up the opener when his mistake in front of goal worked out well for Brek Shea.
Not tested too many times and not at all at fault for the USA's goal.
Did very well not only to keep the left side of his defense solid, but in dipping inside to help out when needed.
Cut out some very dangerous plays and always seemed to be in the mix of the action.
Part of a good defensive effort but offered very little going forward. Got into a shoving match with Eddie Johnson.
Very solid in the first half in dealing with Johnson and Donovan, won almost every challenge that came his way.
Put in a strong shift helping out defensively and spread the ball wide well when he had the time to make a pass.
Put pressure on Beasley down Panama's right and got off a couple of good crosses in the process.
A real strength for his team in the middle of the park. Teamed with Godoy and did a lot of work to protect Panama's back line.
Used his pace to put the United States under pressure on the counter, but couldn't find the final ball.
A threat throughout the tournament but really didn't cause the USA's back line too many problems in the first half as Panama sat back and absorbed the pressure. Was brought off in the second half and was really a non-factor.
He and Gabriel Torres were largely isolated in the first 45, with Godson and Besler doing a nice job of keeping them in check, but you can't question the amount of work Perez put in, fighting with Goodson throughout the match.
Showed a lot of energy after replacing Holden and was arguably the USA's best player throughout much of the game.
Came on for Corona and netted the opener in the easiest of fashions with his first touch of the ball. Gets credit for getting in the right spot at the right time, though. Had a chance to double the lead but wouldn't take it on with his right foot.
