  • The game will kick off momentarily!
  • The Dynamo line up in their familiar 4-4-2 setup: Hall; Sarkodie, Boswell, Brunner, Ashe; Garcia, Creavalle, Clark, Davis; Barnes, Bruin.
  • Rivas, who hasn't played a game all year do the injury, gets the surprise start in the center of defense for the Impact at the expense of homegrown defender Wandrille Lefevre. The former Inter Milan defender certainly brings plenty of experience to the Impact lineup, but whether he'll be sharp enough for the contest remains to be seen. Coach Marco Schallibaum has certainly taken a big gamble in opting for Rivas in defense, but considering the Impact's current plight, perhaps he had little choice. We'll see if the decision pays off!
  • The Impact will start with a 4-2-3-1: Perkins; Brovsky, Ferrari, Rivas, Camara; Bernardello, Warner; Pisanu, Wenger, Mapp; Di Vaio.
  • Here are the starting lineups:
  • With Houston playing at home and Montreal's dismal 1-6-1 record to end the season, the Dynamo are the heavy favorites for tonight's matchup. The Impact however can take heart from their positive 2-1-0 record against the Dynamo this season where they outscored the Texan side 8-1.
  • Hello and welcome to Goal's live commentary of tonight's Eastern conference playoff knockout round match between Houston Dynamo and Montreal Impact. I'm Nick Sabetti, and I will be taking you through tonight's action. The winner of tonight's game will face the New York Red Bulls in a home and home series in the Conference Semi-Finals. If the game is tied after 90 minutes, then the teams will play two 15 minute halves of extra time. If the game is still at a deadlock then the game will go to penalty kicks.
