Dallas will play host to the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, with the home side looking to earn valuable points off the third-placed team in the West.
For FC Dallas, a strong start has been followed by a run of poor form. Seven matches into the season the Hoops had only tasted defeat once. In the eight games since that time the team has collected zero wins and just two points.
With two wins and a draw in their last three, the Rapids are on a good run of form heading into Saturday's contest.

Colorado and FCD split the season series in 2013, with Dallas winning its only home game and the Rapids taking a win and a draw at home in two matches played in Colorado.
A win in Dallas for the Rapids could see the team go level on points with Real Salt Lake in the second spot in the Western Conference, while also opening up a seven point gap on the hosts, who currently sit fifth in the West.
