Had an extremely nervy opening half in which he looked likely to make a mistake every time he received the ball to feet at the back, which made his kicking poor. Did pull off a couple of decent saves but will be queried over Diego's goal.
Showed brilliant attacking ambition down the left-hand side and was always looking to help out as an extra man in the final third. However, showed signs of real frustration at the back and earned a booking for a kick out at Arda.
Got forward at will down the left wing as Koke didn't show too much ambition on the opposite flank in behind him. Drilled some teasing balls into the box but they lacked accuracy and didn't find team-mates.
Was caught out of position a few times as he rashly attempted to snatch the ball away from the feet of the Atletico attackers. Did always make sure he was right at the back of David Villa and didn't allow him too much room to operate.
Was very effective in the deeper areas and was always looking to receive the ball in central area, but struggled to pick out incisive defence-splitting passes in the final third. Was economic in possession as always, though.
Provided a much needed insurance policy in the middle of the park and effectively curbed a few potential Atletico counterattacks. Got involved in the action in the final third though and tested Courtois with a wonderfully-struck volley.
Glided across the pitch effortlessly and was Barcelona's biggest creative influence on the night. Assisted the equaliser with a truly world-class pass in behind the defence and nearly got on the scoresheet himself with a curled strike.
Was neat and tidy in possession but his performance lacked any kind of guile in the final third. Showed a few glimpses of his passing ability but they weren't in the areas to hurt Atleico. Subbed in the second half.
Had a pretty poor opening 45 minutes and was wasteful in possession, but did come close to scoring with a fabulous strike from the right that went just over. Improved greatly as the game went on and eventually grabbed the equaliser with an emphatic finish into the corner.
Had a quiet first hour of the match in which we only saw glimpses of his genius on the ball, but burst into life in the latter stages and had a spring in his step when dribbling. Performance just lacked a telling shot on goal.
His team-mates will have him to thank for leaving Camp Nou with the 1-1 draw. Continuously pulled off stunning saves as he kept out long-range strikes from Iniesta and Busquets, and a free kick late on from Messi.
Came up against his compatriot Dani Alves and didn't allow him in behind too much, although was slightly guilty of standing off at the wing. Displayed an impressive engine down the wing and got involved in attack whenever he could.
Provided a veteran head at right-back and although he had his hands full with the overlapping Alba, was solid in his defending and barely allowed himself to be caught in behind. Got himself a booking for a cynical pull on Iniesta.
Stopped Barca from netting the opener in the first half as he pulled out an unbelievable last-ditch block on an Iniesta strike. Was a rock at the heart of the defence for Atletico and put his head on everything that came into the box.
Communicated well with his central defensive partner and kept the defensive line intact. Was dominant aerially and pro actively defended at times as he sniffed out the danger to win the ball back on the edge of the box.
Didn't get the opportunity to showcase his technical talents as he basically spent his time leaving something on the Barca players. Showed a creative spark at times but spent too much of his time on the right.
Definitely seemed up for the fight but let the intensity get the better of him in the early stages as he went into a few rash challenges and earned a yellow card. Looked slightly isolated on the left.
Put himself about and didn't give the Barcelona midfield much room to operate in the final third, earning himself a yellow card in the process of his tackling. Showed superb composure when on the ball.
Sat deep in the middle of the midfield and attempted to screen the defence and stop any potential passes through. Helped out defensively and got back into the box to track midfield runners, but didn't see too much of him in an attacking sense.
Typically put himself about in the early stages and didn't give Barcelona players any time on the ball, but unfortunately had his match cut short in the first half after picking up a hamstring injury.
Had a fantastic opportunity to give Atletico the lead a few minutes in but sent a shot a yard wide after receiving a loose ball. Did manage to test Pinto with a save at the end of the first half. Didn't seen much of him in the second period.
