Philadelphia Union 1-3 Sporting Kansas City: Zusi rains on Le Toux's homecoming parade
The United States international led the way for Sporting Kansas City in MLS's opening match of 2013, scoring a goal and adding an assist.

CHESTER, Pa -- The Philadelphia Union came out hard early to take a lead against sporting Kansas City, but the Zolos weren't able to hold on as KC, driven by U.S. national team midfielder Graham Zusi, reversed the momentum and worked out a comfortable 3-1 victory.
Philadelphia took the lead in the 17th minute. Sebastien Le Toux cradled down a lofted pass from Keon Daniel inside the Sporting KC box and finished calmly past a helpless Jimmy Nielsen. It was like 2010 all over again, and the home fans were delighted as he mimed a heart in the air and pointed to the stands.
He nearly made doubled the lead a few minutes later. Sheanon Williams' lung-bursting counterattack charge down the right flank drew the defense towards him, leaving Le Toux effectively open at the top of the box, but he shot Williams' passed ball wide when he should have done better.
Sporting Kansas city equalized a few minutes before the break Benny Feilhaber's shot off Claudio Bieler's headed ball was saved by Zac MacMath, but Graham Zusi was there to clean up and finish to level the score.
And Zusi then set up in KC's second, 66 minutes into the match. His floated free kick was met by Oriol Rosell, and the former Barcelona youth player headed home to put the visitors in front.
Sporting sealed the result in the 83rd. A lofted ball from that man, Graham Zusi, evaded Keon Daniel and fell to Chance Myers, who cut back to Sporting's new DP signing, Claudio Bieler, who finished past Zac MacMath.
The result puts KC on top of all the tables and the Union on the bottom for the time being, and John Hackworth wondering how a promising opening half led to such a comprehensive loss.
