The FA Cup's top-10 shocks
10. Manchester United 0-0 Exeter City, 2005
Non-league side Exeter City's 0-0 result away to world footballing juggernaut Manchester United would surely be one of the most celebrated draws in English football history. If you thought Chelsea parked the bus well in the 2012 Champions League final, then spare a thought for Exeter's heroic defensive display at Old Trafford in the third round. Sir Alex Ferguson naturally selected a weaker side, but the Conference side still had to be at their absolute best to hold off the Red Devils. United's Phil Neville was gracious in what would have seemed like a defeat for his side: "If we had won the game today it probably would have been a travesty. Exeter deserved to come away with at least a draw.".
