Western Sydney Wanderers sign two goalkeepers

Western Sydney Wanderers have signed ex-Adelaide United goalkeeper John Hall as an injury replacement player for reserve gloveman Jerrad Tyson.

With Tyson having undergone shoulder surgery last week, Hall has been signed to work alongside the Wanderers' regular number one Vedran Janjetovic.

Tyson is expected to be sidelined for six months, meaning Hall is likely to be involved for the majority of the 2017 FFA Cup and the first month of the 2017-18 A-League season.

Adelaide confirmed last week that they would not be extending Hall's contract, with the South Australian local having been involved with the Reds since 2012.

The 22-year-old made 10 A-League appearances for Adelaide over the past three seasons, including three in 2016-17.

Hall's departure from Adelaide and the expected exit of long-time captain Eugene Galekovic means the Reds are set to have two new goalkeepers next season.

Paul Izzo has already joined Adelaide from Central Coast Mariners.

Western Sydney also announced on Monday that they have signed another young goalkeeper - Nicholas Suman - on a scholarship contract.

The 17-year-old has been part of the Wanderers' National Youth League/NPL side since the start of the 2015-16 season.
