Ramires is proving he is worth every bit of the £25 million Jiangsu Suning paid to sign him from Chelsea, notching a goal right out of the top drawer in the AFC Champions League.
The Brazilian showed his class as he fired the Chinese Super League heavyweights to a 1-0 away win at Gamba Osaka on Wednesday, silencing Suita City Football Stadium with a rasping strike into the top corner.
This is the second goal in three AFC Champions League appearances so far this season for the 29-year-old Ramires, who left Chelsea for Asia in January.
Jiangsu sealed all three points against Japanese side Gamba in Group H and thus look well on course to secure their progress to the last-16 stage.
