Manchester United v Chelsea Betting Special: Mkhitaryan ready to continue fine run

Having failed to even find the net in two previous defeats against Chelsea this season, Manchester United will be desperate for goals then the sides go head-to-head in Sunday’s Premier League clash.

Suspended for the 1-0 FA Cup defeat at Stamford Bridge, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is available at 10/3 (4.33) with bet365 to make up for lost time by opening the scoring in this one.

After getting on the scoresheet in three of his last five appearances for Jose Mourinho’s team, the 35-year-old is priced at 11/10 (2.10) to come to the rescue once again in Sunday’s big clash.

Such is Ibrahimovic’s importance to the team that next favourites Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are lagging behind at a lengthier 21/10 (3.10) and 9/4 (3.25) respectively, although neither may be called upon to start the match.

Instead, an in-form Henrikh Mkhitaryan should provide strong value at 5/4 (2.25) to hit the back of the net for the Red Devils, having done so in five of the last nine club fixtures.

At the other end of the pitch, Diego Costa will be desperate to put an end to a barren streak that has already matched any since his arrival at Stamford Bridge.

Without a goal in four league matches for Antonio Conte’s men, the Spain international is on offer at 15/4 (4.75) to get back among the action by breaking the deadlock in the North West and 5/4 (2.25) to strike anytime.

Alternatively, Eden Hazard’s form of four goals in five makes him an attractive offer at 5/2 (3.50), although both Pedro 3/1 (4.00) and Willian 10/3 (4.33) cannot be ignored either in what promises to prove an entertaining clash.

With 27 goals between them, it is not hard to see how Chelsea’s multi-talented wingers would fancy their chances of  seeing their name in lights once again here.
