Fans' Asian Player of the Week: Guangzhou Evergrande's Alan

Guangzhou Evergrande's Alan has been chosen as last week's Fans' Asian Player of the Week, following his impressive performance in his team's 3-1 win over Cerezo Osaka. 

Alan was exceptional, scoring two goals, as the Chinese side put in an impressive performance against their Japanese opponents. He was also named Toyota Player of the Week. 

The former Red Bull Salzburg forward netted his double in the second half, after Huang Bowen and Takaki Fukumitsu had scored for either side in the opening 10 minutes of the tie at Tianhe Stadium in China.

Alan's two goals came from a total tally of five shots on goal, three of which were on target. He also won four fouls, made 19 passes and registered one chance created.

Also in the fray for the honour were Marcus Berg of Al Ain and Zhao Xuri of Tianjin Quanjian - both of whom were impressive in the games this past week. 

But the fans made their voice count as Alan received a whopping majority of the votes.
