The experienced centre-forward netted what he has described as the best goal of his career on Wednesday, lobbing a goalkeeper with half-volley from all of 30 metres out
Daniel McBreen scored an extraordinary goal in Shanghai SIPG's 2-2 draw against Dalian Aerbin in the Chinese Super League on Wednesday.
The veteran striker, on loan from Central Coast Mariners until October 31, used his chest to control a long ball, waited for it to bounce and then hooked an audacious half-volley over the goalkeeper from mid-way into the opposition half.
The 36-year-old is keeping illustrious company in China, with former Barcelona star Seydou Keita equalising for the visitors en route to a 2-2 draw.
Having defied expectations to win the A-League's Golden Boot for top-scorer last season, McBreen has proven an instant hit in the CSL, netting twice in his three appearances for the club to date.
