Correct-score betting is where the value may lie on Friday in the A-League, with a rare double-header offering several options for punters

Another home meeting against the equally-out-of-form Newcastle Jets appears to have come along at the perfect time for struggling Perth Glory in the A-League on Friday.
The Glory are winless in their past five games since beating the Jets 3-2 in Perth in early November while the Jets have won just one of their past six matches, including that fixture.
As a result both clubs have plummeted down the table after promising starts to the season with the Jets in fifth place on 13 points and the Glory eighth on 11, but knowing a win on Friday will probably lift them back into the top six.
And that is just what the punters are banking on with the Glory the $1.85 favourites at TAB Sportsbet and $1.96 at Betfair to again beat the Jets at home.
And you can get a massive $29 at Betfair on correct-score betting if you think the Glory can repeat their 3-2 win over Newcastle back in early November on Friday.

That was the Glory's best performance in front of goal all season given the club has scored just nine goals - with only Billy Mehmet [three] - having scored more than one this campaign.
That makes the Glory the league's second-lowest scoring team of the season so far [after newcomers Western Sydney with just six], although they get a great chance to improve that record against a shaky Jets defence that has conceded 19 goals in 10 matches.
That gives the Jets the third-worst defensive record so far behind Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory.
However, while this looks the perfect fixture for Perth to again strike form, do not expect the same kind of high-scoring encounter we saw between the teams earlier this season.
The Glory to win 1-0 looks a more realistic betting option at $8 at Betfair, while a 2-1 win is paying $8.80.
But not only are Perth firm favourites on Friday, they are still considered the team most likely to make the top six other than the big three of Central Coast, Adelaide and Melbourne Victory.
Those three teams are all priced at less than $1.20 to make the finals at Betfair, but the Glory are next in the market at $1.60 followed by Wellington at $1.73, reigning champions Brisbane Roar at $1.79 and then Newcastle at $2.02.
In the other clash on Friday, league leaders Central Coast should have few problems at home against Melbourne Heart, with Graham Arnold's side firm favourites to win a fourth-straight game at $1.51 at Betfair.
However, a 2-0 win for the Mariners is better value in correct-score betting, paying $7.60 at Betfair.
