City face a tough task to stay in Europe on the final matchday of the Champions League's group stage, while Europa League places are also up for grabs elsewhere

English champions Manchester City are facing the humiliation of crashing out of Europe completely when the first half of the group phase for this season's Champions League wraps up on Wednesday.
City facing a daunting trip to German champions Borussia Dortmund with their European hopes hanging by a thread.
Roberto Mancini's team already have no hope of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League by finishing in the first two in the group.
But they need to win and hope Real Madrid beat Dutch club Ajax in the other final Group D game to finish third in the group and get the consolation of playing in the Europa League after the winter break.
Dortmund top the group heading into match day six with 11 points, with Spanish giants Real Madrid already safely through on eight.
Ajax are on four points and City - with worse head-to-head record than the Amsterdam club - last on three.
Dortmund are the $2.10 favourites at Betfair, with City - unbeaten and sitting in second place in the EPL this season despite having failed to win any of their five Champions League matches so far - at $3.70. The draw is at $3.85.
In the other Group D game, Real are the shortest-priced favourites of the night at $1.34 with Betfair with Ajax at $11.
But even if they lose heavily, the Dutch club will still reach the Europa League if City do not upset Dortmund.

In Group A, PSG and Porto are already safely through to the next stage, while Dynamo Kviv is assured of the Europa League spot.
In Group B, Schalke and Arsenal are already through to the Round of 16 while Greek club Olympiakos has secured the Europa League spot.
But Olympiakos look good value at $3 with Betfair to win at home to Arsenal in the final group game, with the Gunners risky $2.58 favourites after losing at home to Swansea in the EPL on Saturday - a result that saw them booed off.
In Group C, Malaga and AC Milan - having already secured the top two spots in the group - should both win their final games at $2.12 and $2.62 respectively with Betfair against Zenit St Petersburg and Anderlecht at $3.80 and $2.92.
Zenit and Anderlecht are on four points in the group and are fighting it out for the Europa League spot, but it could come down to goal difference given they both recorded 1-0 wins against each other in their head-to-head meetings in the group.
