Everton face a tough trip to Old Trafford, while Liverpool and Manchester City are clear favourites in their respective matches
The last place on earth a side would feel like visiting after losing an FA Cup semi-final to its most bitter rivals Liverpool is a trip to Old Trafford to face a Manchester United outfit closing in on a 13th English Premier League crown in just 20 seasons.
But that exactly what confronts David Moyes' shattered Everton side in the pick of three English Premier League games on Sunday.
Unfortunately for punters, it is a difficult day to find value, with United, Liverpool and Manchester City all hot favourites to win the three games against Everton, West Brom and Wolves respectively.
United has come up just a $1.31 bet at Luxbet to beat Everton, while City - five points behind United with four matches to play ahead of a meeting with United next match - is at $1.24 to keep up the pressure by beating bottom-placed Wolves away.
And Liverpool is only slightly longer at Luxbet at $1.43 to beat West Brom, which at $7.25 is by far the shortest of the three outsiders, with Everton at $9.50 and Wolves at $11.50.
But with such short odds on offer for straight out wins, it might be best to look at other alternatives for a punt.
And at Old Trafford you can base your planning around the home side keeping a clean sheet.
Everton, who now has nothing to play for following its disappointing FA Cup semi-final loss to Liverpool, has only beaten United twice in 35 Premier League meetings since famously upsetting the Red Devils in the 1995 FA Cup Final.
Everton's record at Old Trafford is even worse - one have to go back to 1992 for the last time the Toffees won there - and United is bang on form and unlikely to slip up here.
United has won five of its past six EPL games and kept a clean sheet in all of them.
So have a look at the correct score betting, with United at $6.75 at Luxbet to beat Everton 1-0 , with $6 offered on a 2-0 win,.
|More than 2.5 goals in Wolves v Man City at $1.41 at Luxbet
||Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion to draw at $4.30 at Luxbet
But whatever you think United will beat Everton by, back Manchester City to score even more at Wolves, who are all but doomed to relegation.
The best bet of the day appears to be the $1.41 at Luxbet that there will be more than 2.5 goals scored in this match. If City are really in the mood, it is frightening to think of just how much Roberto Mancini's team could win by.
As for the other game, the value might be to back the draw at $4.30.
While Liverpool might be aiming to complete a Cups double this season - having already won the League Cup - their form in the EPL has been dreadful for months, with just three wins in their past 11 matches. They are just four points ahead of West Brom on the table.
Like the Reds, West Brom also have little to play for, given they are safe in mid-table. But with manager Roy Hodgson sure to have his players fired up when he returns to the club that dumped him, the Baggies ‑ who have won two of their past three EPL games - could well come away with a point.
