thumbnail Hello,

The forward talked up a potential clash with his former club, while Blaise Matuidi suggested the French giants are hoping to avoid an English outfit

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he would relish the opportunity to face AC Milan should Paris Saint-Germain be drawn against them in the Champions League last 16.

The remaining teams in Europe's top competition find out their opponents in the next round on Monday and PSG could be drawn against the likes of Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Galatasaray or Zenit St Petersburg.

A prospective tie against the Rossoneri particularly appeals to Ibrahimovic, however, with the Swede having left San Siro less than 18 months ago for Parc des Princes - although he also has an eye on Manchester City.

When asked by Le Parisien if he would like to play against Milan in the knockout stages, he responded: "Milan would be a cool match-up. Also, so would Man City."

PSG team-mate Blaise Matuidi was less keen on the prospect of facing either City or fellow Premier League side Arsenal, but says PSG have the upper hand against whomever they are drawn due to hosting the second leg.

"The two English clubs are great teams," the midfielder, 26, said. "They play at the top end of their league and have history of good runs in the Champions League.

"They are very difficult to beat. But, regardless of the opponent, we will give our maximum to win. We will use our strength to get through. We also have the advantage of playing at home in the return leg, which we will enjoy."

PSG host Saint-Etienne on Wednesday before welcoming Lille to Parc des Princes on Sunday for their final game of 2013.
