69' GOAL! Ronaldo nets winner
An own goal from Sergio Ramos had put Sir Alex Ferguson's men in front early in the second half but the tie was undoubtedly turned on it's head by referee Cuneyt Cakir's controversial decision to send off Nani.

The Portuguese was dismissed for a high challenge on Alvaro Arbeloa as both players contested an aerial ball.

The Manchester United midfielder seemingly had his eyes on the ball but the Turkish official deemed it dangerous play and reduced the hosts to ten men.

Real Madrid gained the impetus following the dismissal and soon turned the tie around with two goals in quick succession.

First Luka Modric evaded two challenges before firing in a rasping shot past the helpless David de Gea before Gonzalo Higuain found Cristiano Ronaldo at the back post with a low cross for the former United man to score against his old side.

What do you make of the sending off? Was Nani's foot dangerously high? Did Arbeloa make too much of it? Did the referee get it wrong? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below or get in touch via on Twitter.
