Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu believes his side's 2-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb has taken them one step closer to securing passage to the knockout rounds in the Uefa Champions League.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jeremy Menez scored the goals to sink the Plavi, taking the French team up to second place in Group A with six points.
Les Parisiens host the Croatian side at the Parc des Princes in the next round of fixtures, and the Italian international is confident a win at home would all but seal a place in the last 16.
"This is a step towards qualification," he told RMC Sport.
"The next match [against Zagreb] is very important, perhaps even decisive for giving us the opportunity to pass [through to the knockout stages].
The shot-stopper then reflected on Wednesday night's victory, explaining that once PSG had scored early on, the match became straightforward for them.
"The game became easy in the second period – we had control and they stopped pressing. It led to the goal, it was easier.
"The defeat in Porto [made us] realise that we still had a lot of work to do."
