TEAM NEWS: Rooney starts but Fellaini on bench for Manchester United against Crystal Palace

Each team makes four changes, with the deadline day signing starting among the substitutes, but the striker makes his return after cutting his forehead in training
Manchester United manager David Moyes has decided to start with Wayne Rooney for the Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace, although Marouane Fellaini has to settle for a place on the bench.

The midfielder joined from Everton for a fee of £27.5 million on deadline day, and could make his debut off the bench at Old Trafford.

Rooney, meanwhile, has been sidelined with a gash to his forehead and hasn't played since the 0-0 draw with Chelsea on August 26, and is one of four changes to the side who lost 1-0 to Liverpool last time out as Phil Jones, Antonio Valencia and Anderson all also come in.

Wilfried Zaha starts on the bench against his former side.

Palace recorded their first win of the season last time out with a 3-1 triumph over Sunderland, and Ian Holloway also makes four changes, with Adrian Mariappa, Jose Campana, Dwight Gayle and Damien Delaney all starting.
