Fyrers played his part in the opening goal of the match against London rivals Charlton, when he won the ball in midfield before laying it off to Ryan Mason who assisted Jonathan Obika.
Spurs eventually ran out comfortable 4-0 winners after Obika added a second and a goal apiece from Jake Livermore and Andros Townsend wrapped up victory.
The deal that saw Fryers arrive at Andre Villas-Boas’ side infuriated Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Fryers, 20, turned down the opportunity to sign a new contract and remain at Old Trafford - instead leaving for free to play in Belgium, despite spending a portion of the summer with Spurs.
However, he finally completed his move back to the Premier League earlier this month, leaving Spurs to refute Ferguson’s comments.
