The free-scoring Spanish attacker paid tribute to his team-mates for their display against the Gunners and has underlined his happiness with life in south Wales

Swansea City attacker Michu has described his two-goal performance in Saturday's 2-0 win over Arsenal as "like a dream".

Michael Laudrup's men edged possession and the chances against the Gunners and were rewarded as the Spaniard struck in the 88th and 90th minutes to seal victory.

"It was like a dream," the £2 million summer buy from Rayo Vallecano told the club's official website.

"The defence was good, in attack we had 12 attempts on target, so we were very good all through the team.

"The manager told us we were very good in the first half against West Brom, and that we could bring that performance here to Arsenal, and we did.

GAME OF TWO HALVES
2/1 Swansea are 2/1 to score in both halves against Norwich with William Hill
"For the goals, it was a great pass from Luke [Moore] for the first and Nathan [Dyer] did a lot of good work for the second. I was very happy to take my chances and score. I'm very happy here with my team-mates, the gaffer and the club. I hope it continues like this."

The 26-year-old, who has scored in each of his side's last three wins, believes that the seventh-placed Swans can get even better.

"This team can go up and up," he continued.

"I'm very happy we are on 23 points, but we need to keep it going. But we have to continue working hard. If we don't work hard we will lose for sure.

"We have more tough games coming up, and we have to keep the same attitude that we have shown recently."
